PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The City of Memphis is developing improvements along two corridors in North Memphis: Chelsea Avenue and Hollywood Street. The improvements along these corridors include pedestrian and bicyclist safety enhancements, traffic calming, intersection and roadway reconfigurations, signal modifications, streetscaping, and beautification. This project is funded through the City of Memphis Accelerate Memphis initiative and a federal transportation grant. Allworld is providing our services by developing the public engagement plan working with Gresham Smith. 

OUR ROLE
AWPM played a key role during the planning and preparation phases by leading the team in public engagement efforts such as:

• Developing a stakeholder register for all key contacts of the project

• Hosting stakeholder and community meetings to obtain design input

• Production of an ArcGIS story map and field guide

• Implementing a walkshop for a physical audit of both the Chelsea Avenue and Hollywood Street project locations

• Development of an asset management tool hosted by ESRI Survey 123 to collect fie conditions during the walkshop
