PROJECT DESCRIPTION
As part of its commitment to expand fuel diversity, TVA replaced its coal-fired units at the Allen Fossil Plant with a natural gas plant. 

OUR ROLE
The new facility is a 2x1 combined cycle plant with a 1,100-megawatt generation capacity. Allworld procured the pre-stressed concrete cylinder underground pipe and above-ground circular water pipe. Allworld also provided grouting services for the underground line and three electrical vaults. Allworld’s other responsibilities include the installation of the administrative building HVAC and providing engineering services and document control for the prime contractor, Kiewit Construction.
